Join us for our third annual Memorial Picnic at Jack Darling Memorial Park!
Each year, Heart House Hospice staff gather with bereaved families to enjoy a picnic lunch and activities in memory of loved ones who have died. Last year, these activities included creating kites, suncatchers, lava stone jewellry with essential oils, and memorial rocks.
The picnic concludes with a memorial ritual as participants are invited to release rose petals along the shore of Lake Ontario in memory of their loved ones. The Memorial Picnic has been a wonderful opportunity for families connect with others who have experienced loss while cherishing and making memories.
