Mindfulness
Mindfulness meditation is a mental training practice that involves focusing your mind on the emotions, thoughts and sensations you are experiencing in that moment: By choosing to turn your attention to what’s happening in your body, you allow your mind to quiet down.
Mindfulness meditation can involve breathing practice, mental imagery, awareness of body and mind, and muscle and body relaxation.
At Heart House Hospice we offer guided Meditation. Participants meditate in response to the guidance of a trained practitioner.
It is a simple, easy way to improve well-being and connect mind, body, and spirit. Meditation may assist with concentration, the ability to breathe more easily; increase feelings of calm, happiness, and contentment.
