Kimberly Blackmore

Kimberly provides counselling to children and youth who have a loved one who is seriously ill, dying or has died.  She has provided counselling to children with severe emotional and behavioural difficulties in a variety of therapeutic settings for over 20 years.  Kimberly has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Child and Youth Studies, an Early Childhood Educator diploma, Masters in Counselling Psychology, a certified Child and Youth Worker, and a Certified Play Therapist.  Kimberly has created and learned numerous ways to engage and help children, teens and families identify, talk about and share on some very tough topics.

Kimberly will be supporting the children, youth, families and community organizations in the areas of Acton, Brampton, Burlington, and Georgetown.


Allison Gorloff

Allison completed her undergraduate degree at York University in Children’s Studies and Advocacy and she is a Certified Child Life Specialist as well as an Early Childhood Educator. She recently graduated with her Masters in Education from Queen’s University.  Allison worked with the Waterloo Catholic School Board as an Early Childhood Educator and also worked for HopeSpring Cancer Support Centre running the children’s group programming.  She completed her Child Life Internship at Gilda’s Club Greater Toronto and The Hospital for Sick Children.  Allison uses books, games and art to address and discuss the big topic and feelings that death and dying raise.

Allison will be working with the children, youth, families and community organizations in the areas of Mississauga, Milton and Oakville.
