TEAMSTERS RESPECT AWARDS!
Currently in the planning stages for September, 2010, the RESPECT AWARDS will be awarded
at a Gala to both union and management honorees that have contributed the most to
strengthen the institution of labour management relations in Peel. Heart House Hospice
is pleased to announce their participation as the recipient of this fundraiser.
WEST CREDIT SECONDARY SCHOOL SHAVES THEIR HEADS FOR HOSPICE
On Wednesday, December 16th at West Credit Secondary School in Mississauga, Staff, Students and supporters shaved their heads to raise funds for Heart House Hospice. We are delighted to receive $1,050 from this amazing fundraiser.
MICHEALS BACKDOOR CHARITY DINNER
On November 2nd, 2009 Micheal's Backdoor hosted a 5 course gourmet dinner on behalf of Heart House Hospice. The event brought out 80 Heart House Hospice supporters raising over $6000. The night was an elegant night complied of speeches, a silent auction and fine dining.
BAYSHORE HOME HEALTH KICKS OFF THE 2010 HIKE FOR HOSPICE
On February 1st at Bayshore Home Health National Office the 2010 Hike for Hospice was launched with a breakfast and Nintendo Wii challenge for their over 100 staff. Bayshore has been involved with the Hike for five years with 2010 being their first year with Heart House Hospice. With over 10 potential teams and a $7,000 challenge, this year's Hike with Bayshore is sure to be great!
