The Volunteer Difference
Volunteers make a meaningful difference to a person’s end-of life experience. Whether
they provide clients emotional, spiritual or practical in-home support, offer administrative
help in the office, participate on a committee work, raise funds or serve as board
members - all make immeasurable difference in the lives of those living with a life-threatening
illness.
Heart House Hospice volunteers support the philosophy of
companioning the client on their end–of-life journey.
Heart House Hospice volunteers are an integral part of Hospice care. Our volunteers
are interviewed, screened and trained in order to provide the best quality care
to our clients. They are a part of the multidisciplinary team involved in the client’s
care.
