to raise the important funds needed to improve the quality of life of the terminally-ill

The 12for12k Challenge is the combination of social media and fund-raising that
aims to change the lives of millions worldwide. The concept is simple: 12 months
of the year, 12 charities, and $12,000 per charity. For the month of May, Heart

TURTLE JACK’S RESTAURANT
On Monday, August 24th at the Glen Abbey Golf Course Turtle Jack’s of Clarkson will
be hosting a Charity Golf Tournaments with part of the proceeds going to Heart House

TIM HORTONS SMILES COOKIES
The Smile Cookie program is a unique way for the Brampton Tim Horton’s storeowners
to give back to the community with their chosen charity to be Heart House Hospice.
These double-sized chocolate chip cookies will be available at all Brampton stores
this year on the week of September 20, 2009. Last years proceeds generously donated
to Heart House Hospice totaled $20,500.
TEAMSTERS RESPECT AWARDS!
Currently in the planning stages for May, 2010, the RESPECT AWARDS will be awarded
at a Gala to both union and management honorees that have contributed the most to
strengthen the institution of labour management relations in Peel. Heart House Hospice
is pleased to announce their participation as the recipient of this fundraiser.
