Residential Hospice

Heart House Hospice currently advocates for, and attends to the non-medical, spiritual, and emotional and respite needs right in the client’s home.

The people of Mississauga and Brampton currently do not have a freestanding residential hospice. We want to change that.

To have this place of serenity, with compassionate, supportive companioning will make a meaningful difference to many in our community at their end-of-life. This residential hospice will have tremendous cost advantages over Hospital stays, not to mention a much more home environment.

Our Residential Hospice will offer 10 large patient care rooms, along with rooms for family members to gather, space for reflection, multipurpose space to include our wellness and therapeutic programs, Day Program, a community resource centre, administrative and executive functions.

"LANDING THE LAND." We anticipate building this facility to meet this growing need of our community. Negotiations are currently underway to obtain this much-needed land.
